This image was created using Photoshop 6 and Painter 7. Immediately below is the final image. The overall image is 11x14 with the main portion of the image at 9x12 inches. It was printed using an Epson 1160 on Epson watercolor paper using Epson inks. |

I scanned all three photos into Photoshop at 600dpi at 150%. Below are the original scans, note that the eyes are blown out in each image. |

The scans were color corrected, repaired and the eyes in each scan were fixed. Below are the working images cropped and resampled to 300dpi. |

Working in Painter 7, the first and second images were done using primarily pastel brushes (soft pastel). These two images also had the soft camel brush applied when the image was lifted to the watercolor layer and then 'wet watercolor layer' was done. The third image was done using watercolor brushes (soft camel and fine camel using multiple layers). All the images were then taken into Photoshop and composited. The edges were done using an Extensis Photoframe edge (Watercolor2_06). A drop shadow was applied to each image after being placed on the 9x12inch background. The text font is Dancin' Let with a drop shadow and bevel and emboss applied. |
